The day was perfect. I met Lynlee through a past bride of mine, Kayla, and fell in love with her immediately. Lynlee truly shines and I hope that I captured it in these images. Lynlee + Curren got married at the Mitten Building in Redlands, CA- a short hop and a skip from my home town in Southern California. Thankful to have been a part of this day and have an excuse to visit my family.
This spring, I drove down to Winters and photographed Sunee & Adam's engagement photos. That night we talked about them and their wedding day and it became a marker point on my calendar as a day I was really looking forward to. From the venue to every single vendor, the day was planned to perfection. Headlands Center for the Arts was a beautiful backdrop for their wedding day to play out on. There were tears and smiles and more smiles and a love that felt tangible.

I've known Emily through the internet since when we both lived in Southern California four years ago. Emily moved up to Redding early last year and I moved up North in the Fall. Shortly after we I moved to Redding, EJ proposed to Emily on a trip to Florida. All of my dreams came true when they asked me about photographing their wedding in one of my favorite places, Whiskeytown Lake. Their wedding day was simple and intimate and a reflected them as a couple. Emily and EJ have a company called Lion and Lamb Co and DIY styled nearly every aspect of their wedding. EJ made all of their tables for their wedding and Emily put her calligraphy skills to work on all of the signs. Our friend Erika, Cupcakes for the Kingdom, is the genius behind their wedding cake. Oh, and that dress- perfection. Their wedding is definitely in the books as one of my favorite I've ever photographed. Em & EJ, thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. xx My amazing man, Corey, came along and second shot this wedding with me. He started a photo editing company this Spring, called Light & Dark, and has really helped me keep my workflow together during my busiestwedding season yet.
