New York has always been somewhere I wanted to check out, because it seemed interesting and a beat different than anywhere I've been. The trip was planned about 4 or 5 days before departure. No real plans at all. Just a lot of time to wander around with my camera. It was perfect. I fell in love. From Brooklyn to Broadway to Brighton Beach and back again. Days of wandering. I'm sitting back at my kitchen table in California with a full heart and some pictures to look back on as I process this trip.
While I was in New York, my mind wandered off at the same pace as my feet. I love where I am right now, but I wonder what my life would look like if I made huge changes & looked at the bigger picture more freely. To dream big and take a step back and figure out what it takes. Once you realize the steps, a dream becomes within reach and more manageable. I want to live a life that serves as proof that I followed the crazy dreams and not only walked through doors that open for me + had welcome mats, but knocking doors down that need to be knocked down.
"And because no matter who you are, if you believe in yourself and your dream, New York will always be the place for you." -Michael Bloomberg
