Last Fall, I drove up to Mt. Shasta to photograph what would be one of my favorite wedding I've photographed. Melissa and Taylor were both my roommates at different times and we laughed our way through ministry school last year. They are the sort of friends that make you think "wow, I didn't know that people could be this good". They're two of the most caring, beautiful and loving people I know. And I hope that my photos show evidence of that. Much love to you two.
Bethany is the friend I know I can call in the middle of the night (I have) and I am so thankful I got to be a part of her wedding year (yes, year) as her friend and wedding photographer. First the plan was to have everyone gather in Marfa to celebrate, but in Indian tradition there was a certain day to be married on and that day was before when the Marfa wedding was planned. Thus came the Indian wedding that took place in Dallas. They decided to have a small wedding in New York (where they both live) with all of their close friends as their first and "official" wedding. Then followed a big Indian wedding in Dallas with Tarun's family. Then Marfa (one of my new favorite places) became a sort of wedding "after party" and it was perfect.
