Heather and Dan were married in Prospect Park at the Picnic House. I loved photographing their Brooklyn wedding day. Heather got ready at the Brooklyn downtown Marriott where she slipped into her custom wedding dress. They made it official with a small ceremony in Prospect Park. The reception at the picnic house and was designed by Rachel, one of Martha Stewart's even planners. So yeah, it was a pretty good day.
Rachel and Simon got married in Brooklyn at Seaport Flowers surrounded by their closest friends. Rachel got ready in her apartment and wore the perfect simple (in the best way, am I right?) wedding dress. Seaport Flowers is Rachel's go-to flower shop and their courtyard made for the perfect gathering. We chased sun on the streets of Brooklyn and captured fun light-filled portraits. The night ended with an amazing dinner at Gramercy Tavern.
When Lucy Laucht contacted me about photographing her Brooklyn wedding day, I almost squealed a bit because the Lucy Laucht emailed me. Their wedding day was just as amazing as I could have pictured. They got ready at the Wythe Hotel and got married at North Brooklyn Farms on the East River. Lucy and Paul did a first look on the streets of Brooklyn and we wandered around in the rain the rain around Williamsburg. Lucy's dad drove their VW Vanagon to the ceremony (which might have stalled out twice during the couple block drive). And they had a busker from the L train perform after the ceremony to set the mood for the reception. Such a dream of a day. Also, check out this wedding featured on West Elm!
